A Daggermoth Caterpillar at Frozen Head State Park. The females of these moths don't have wings. Soon after emerging from the cocoon, they give off a pheromone to attract a winged male. After mating she lays her eggs, covers them with the hair-like body scales from her abdomen, then she dies.
