I didn't find this plant, it found me! While I was photographing another plant I felt something cutting into my leg, when I looked at this "innocent-looking" plant I noticed some sharp, curved prickles under the leaves. Not only could this plant "tear a thumb", but its' leaves could tear any part of your body that got caught on them! Click on the picture and it will enlarge so you can see them better. I found this one blooming in late August near the pond at Frozen Head SP.
