This is a pink pea-type flower that is very common in yards. The flower has a very long keel that is dark pink at the end. The plant is small and grows close to the ground (I guess because it gets mowed off). The stems are brown and thin. Note the small hairs on the edges of the leaves. Thanks to Sonnia in Texas for her help in identifying this plant!
