Hedge Bindweed
Calystegia sepium /Morning Glory Family

The long, deep roots of this plant can make it an unwelcome addition to a flower garden! Note the difference in the leaves from the previous flower. Unlike the Wild Potato Vine, this flower has no pink center. I photographed this flower at Three Bends Scenic Wildlife Area in Oak Ridge in mid-June.
Perennial
Where seen:Oak Ridge Greenways, Great Smoky Mountains NP, Warriors' Path SP, widespread
{Formerly known as: Convolvulus sepium}
