This Mountain Mint doesn't have the white, powdery-looking leaves that the Hoary Mountain Mint has. There are often two clusters of flowers on the upper parts of the stems. Look for bright purple dots on the small flowers. I photographed this plant at Tremont in the Smokies in mid-July.
