Passionflowers seem to be custom-made for Bumblebees. The nectaries are located in the dark maroon area below the green ovary. When the bees contact the large, yellow, rectangular stamens they get covered with pollen on their fuzzy thorax. When they fly to the next flower they spread the pollen to the green-knobbed pistils.
