The Beaver's Workshop trail is a fairly new walking trail at Cove Lake. It is well-named, several trees have been gnawed by the beavers which swim up the creeks. The huge rodents eat just the bark, the cambium layer beneath the bark, and leaves, they don't eat the wood. Look for chips of wood at the base of a freshly gnawed tree.
