This plant is a great example of using your nose as an identification tool; even a blind person could quickly identify it! Crush a leaf and you'll immediately recognize the familar strong, minty aroma. People like the minty smell, but insects hate it. I found these plants blooming at the University of Tennessee Arboretum in July.
