This is a heavily cropped photo taken at a distance of about 20', under heavy shade, so I had a lot of factors working against me. But, at least I got a photo of a male Ruby-throated Hummingbird! I was happy to catch him as he turned around and flashed those brilliant red throat feathers (called a gorget). If it wasn't for those red-reflecting feathers, he would be very well camouflaged in the trees.
