Taxus species
Yew is not a wildflower or shrub, but it could be a landscape escape. One reason I'm including it is because of its severe toxicity. It is fatal to humans and animals that eat the leaves or berries. The pretty, translucent, juicy red berries ("arils") can be inticing to children; they are not as dangerous as the leaves, but they could still cause problems. The foliage is also toxic, animals can die within minutes of eating it. Death can happen suddenly with no warning symptoms. The toxin causes respiratory and / or cardiac collapse.
