family from the tour boat at Wakulla Springs St. Park in Florida on May 19, 2010. The chicks appeared to have a bald spot on the top of their head and little hooks on the tips of their wings. What funny birds they are! :)
We enjoyed watching this Brown Pelican diving beak-first into the water at Santa Cruz, CA. The two gulls would fly nearby to snatch up any fish they might be able to steal!
