Copy of Sparrow White-throated female 1-30
March 6, 2007 This pretty little sparrow was feeding on the ground under my feeder. I'm not much of a birder, but thanks to the bright yellow patches on the head and the white throat patch, this one was easy to identify in my Audubon's field guide. This little guy won't be around much longer, White-throated Sparrows are only winter visitors. Could we consider them "snow birds" in Tennessee?!
