The Arboretum has trees from all over the U.S. and the world. There are cypress trees planted in the Marsh Area.
The paved trail around the Arboretum office is handicapped accessable.

The Oak-Hickory trail has recently had steps added to the beginning, a nice improvement.
Fall is a beautiful time to visit the Arboretum.
The Oak Hickory trail has Ramps, Crested Iris, Wood Anemone, Fly Poison and other wildflowers.
The University of Tennessee Arboretum is located in Oak Ridge on South Illinois Ave. The office has many spring wildflowers planted around it. You'll see Bloodroot, Solomon's Seal, Blue Dogbane, Celandine Poppy, Columbine, Wild Geranium, Purple Phacelia, and many others.
Springtime is a wonderful time to visit the Arboretum. The ornamental cherry trees, star and saucer magnolias, and dogwoods are a sight to behold when they are in bloom!
