Forget-Me-Not Family April 8, 2005 This pretty yellow-orange flowered plant is in the Forget-Me-Not Family. I found it in a cedar barrens area at Haw Ridge in early April. Composite Family Ragworts color the roadsides golden in May and June. Note the spittlebug nest on the stem. The spittlebug nymph lives in the foam made from plant juices.
