Frasier's Sedge has monoecious flowers. The fuzzy staminate (male) flowers are at the top of the flower and the two-pronged pistils are below.
Sedge Family April 15, 2005 This plant looks like grass, but it is in the Sedge family. It is found in the Smokies and Appalachian Mountains of east Tennessee.
