Heath Family Yes, there really is such a thing as a Farkleberry! It is a member of the Heath family, along with blueberries, azaleas, and rhododendron. The pretty little white, bell-shaped flowers form inedible berries in the fall. This beautiful butterfly is a Red-spotted Purple. Rose Family There are hundreds of tiny white flowers on each white stalk. I found this plant blooming at Laurel-Snow Pocket Wilderness in Dayton, TN.
