I snapped this scene of the typical CA roadsides as we drove down Hwy. 101 to Salinas. It is amazing that as highly developed and populated as California is, there are still a lot of beautiful scenes like this! :)

Curtis and Jeanie pose in front of the Santa Cruz surfer monument. Curtis was getting sunburned, so he wore Jeanie's hat. He inherited Kenny's Irish genes for fair skin!

This sign in the San Jose airport shows the numerous technical companies in Silicon Valley. Curtis got a job with Google in July 2007. This was our first trip there to visit him.
