June 29, 2012 I squealed with delight when I spotted this beautiful lily blooming along the trail as we were hiking to Rainbow Falls! It was one of my "target plants", a flower that I had wanted to see for many years. I was surprised to see it quite often in the Sierras after that day.
June 30, 2012 This was another nice surprise when I was tromping around in the woods near a wet meadow.
