This wasn't the masses of poppies that I had hoped to see, but I was happy to see a few like these.
in Gorman was one of the redeeming moments of the trip. This was more like what I had hoped to see !
Gorman, CA March 22, 2007 These pretty gold flowers carpeted the Grapevine Hill. Along with the orange California Poppies, blue Lupines and Globe Gilia, and other flowers scattered on the hillside, they made for a beautiful sight.
