I thought this Dragon on the facade of an old building in downtown San Antonio was interesting!
All of the old buildings (and many of the new ones) are made of local limestone. This block in the Cathedral of San Fernando had lots of seashell fossils in it. I guess I'm probably one of the few tourists that would take photos of the fossils in a building! :) The rock in the Hill Country nearby is limestone, so the stone masons didn't have to go far for their building supplies.
It was interesting to see the markings in the blocks left behind on the blocks on the Cathedral of San Fernando by the stonemasons nearly 200 years ago.
