This is the view of the Fish Ladder from the outside. I always thought the fish had to jump up the ladder, but there is an opening in the middle of each section for the fish to swim through. Visitors can watch the fish through viewing windows 2 stories below.

These are the huge generators that produce the electricity at the Bonneville Dam. The water moves through huge pipes into the turbines with such force that there is a constant vibration and dull roar heard in the building.
