Fireweed is a common wildflower growing in many areas of the northern hemisphere. It gets its common name from the fact that it often grows after a fire. This beautiful view was seen along a country road near the fjord village of Flåm. The Norwegian name means "goat ram".
We walked to this beautiful waterfall while we were staying in Flåm. "Foss" is the Norwegian word for waterfall.
We passed this charming farm house on our walk to the Brekkefossen.
