Hodges #4644 6-24-10 Oak Ridge, TN (Anderson Co.) Flannel moths have caterpillars that are very fuzzy with long hairs in the early instars. They may look cute and cuddly, but beneath the long white "hairs" there are venomous spines! (see following photo)
