Giant Silkworm and Royal Moths (Saturniidae) #7758 Fall Creek Falls State Park (White Co.) 2005 I call this "A Luna Eclipse". This beautiful moth had just come out of his coccoon and was drying his wings. We saw him at Fall Creek Falls State Park. This was the first photo I ever enlarged to a 16" x 24" print.
This is one wild-looking caterpillar! Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction!
