Rue anemone is a common early spring wildflower.
Bloodroot is a very early bloomer, look for it along this trail in mid-March.
Beaked Trout lily plants are found huge numbers along north-facing slopes. They bloom in late March.
Unfortunately, the invasive Garlic Mustard has found this area to its liking.
is located on a north-facing slope behind the 101-135 Southill Apartments on W. Vanderbilt Dr. The trail follows this lovely stream much of the way. It is carpeted with wildflowers in the spring.
