This tree is also known as Osage Orange. It has a beautiful, bright yellow wood when freshly cut.
berries resemble small yellow tomatoes (they should, they are related!) in smell and seed arrangement, but don't try to sample them, they are poisonous! Note the little thorns, it is not fun to have to pull these weeds out of the garden.
