Obed Wild and Scenic River
I was enchanted to find this pretty little ring of Wood Anemones growing along the Obed River at Lilly Bridge.
One of the other trails ends at this boardwalk. It safely allows hikers to enjoy the views of the Lilly Bluff overlook.

Obed National Wild and Scenic Rivers
, part of the National Park Service, is a favorite of kayakers. This narrow, linear park is famous for its untamed white water. The park is located in Wartburg, TN. There are over 45 miles of creeks and rivers protected in this unusual park. Visitors can enjoy rock climbing and fishing.

The well-named Boulder trail has huge moss and fern-covered boulders. This is one of the few hiking trails in the park.

A short hike downstream from Potter's Falls is the beautiful Double Falls.
Ok, Potter's Falls is such a beautiful waterfall, I hate to not show the whole thing --- despite the awful blue paint on the bridge. Aauugh! What were the guys at the highway department thinking?!!! It had to be guys who painted it, women wouldn't dare use such an awful color! Ha! :)

Obed is a river park, used mainly for canoeing and kayaking, however there are some hiking trails for the non-aquatic folks. At over 14 miles, the Devil's Breakfast Table trail is not for the faint-of-heart!
