is located in White County near the community of DeRossett on Hwy. 70. Turn on Eastland Rd., then on Scotts Gulf Rd., look for the Bridgestone / Firestone Centennial Wilderness Area sign and turn right. There are 2 trailheads on that road, Virgin Falls is the second one, it is the parking area on the right.
I guess the people who left this mess never heard of, "Pack it in, Pack it out!" This was the only trash we saw on the trail. I have a feeling it was left by people who came in by boat from the Caney Fork river; most backpackers are not so irresponsible!
