Warriors Path is popular for Canoeing, paddleboats, jet skis, and motorboats. I thought it was interesting that the guy in the rental canoe was using a kayak paddle instead of a canoe paddle! :)

Improperly discarded fishing line can be deadly to birds and other wildlife. Real fishermen don't leave wadded up fishing line, worm containers, fishhooks, beer bottles or empty cigarette packages laying around to cause problems for animals and people!

Warriors Path State Park is located in Kingsport, TN on Fort Patrick Henry Lake. It is a large park with a swimming pool, 18-hole golf course, riding stables, Frisbee golf,picnic areas, hiking trails, canoe and paddleboat rentals at the marina, an environmental education center, and a handicapped accessable playground.
Did you ever wonder what happens to recycled Christmas trees? The branches of the dead trees offer great hiding areas for small fish, which attracts larger fish, which attracts fishermen (and women). This photo was taken in Oct. 2003.
