Rhododendron leaves curl in tightly during very cold weather. The morning I took this picture the temperature was in the mid-teens. Fortunately, it is just outside my front door, so I didn't have to go far! :)

Orchid Family The name "Plantain" can apply to many different types of flowers, in this case it is an orchid. These flowers bloom in July. I found this one in Oak Ridge near Clark Center Park.
