Dogwood Family Ashford, WA June 22, 2009 This Dogwood is common growing near creeks. Unlike other members of the Dogwood family, this one does not have large bracts surrounding the small flowers.
Aster Family Mt. Rainier National Park June 24, 2009 This flower required a walk back up the road from a lower parking area since it was growing in an area where we couldn't pull over. There was still a few patches of snow hanging around on the opposite side of the road.
Saxifrage Family Mt. Rainier National Park June 23, 2009 Fringecup is related to Bishop's Cap that grows in the east. It is a much larger plant and flower.
