Mustard Family Height: 8" - 16" March 28, 2005 Look for the toothworts to bloom in late March. The flowers often have a light pink tinge to the petals. They like rich soil on north-facing slopes. The word "wort" means "plant," the "tooth" part alludes to the white, tooth-like growths on the roots.
