Lily Family Mt. Rainier National Park June 23, 2009 I had to wait until we got to the higher elevations of the park to see this beautiful wildflower. The first time I saw them they were drooping from being rained on. I took this photo the next day. Avalanche lilies are related to our Trout Lilies which bloom in early April.
