Blue-fronted Dancer Damselfly - Male
This blue Damselfly was sitting on a twig, I was happy to be able to get so close to it. The mandibles are clearly visible on the head. According to Jim Bangma, "dancers typically
perch with the wings folded above the abdomen, unlike Bluets which usually
fold the wings along/overlapping the abdomen". This will be a helpful tip in identifying these tiny creatures.
