August 8, 2008

During the weekend of Aug. 8 - 10, 2008 20 people who participate in the website "Bugguide.net" met at the University of Tennessee Field Station outside of Gatlinburg for the 2nd Annual Bugguide Gathering. It was a great way to learn about insects! This moth was attracted to a light which was shining on a sheet. The moth gets its common name from the black markings on its wings.
