The state park had a very nice snake exhibit. I was glad to be able to photograph some of the dangerously venomous snakes safely! These snakes can be aggressive, they reveal their white-skinned mouth when they are in a threatening pose. These snakes are often found in water, the genus name piscivorus means "fish-eater," but they also eat frogs.
