I met Carol S. (left) on the beach in front of the hotel on Sanibel Island. She is a "snowbird" from Oregon who winters on the island each year. She was such a big help in pointing out tiny shells (wenteltraps were her favorite). Here she shows the back side of a Shark's Eye shell she had found that morning. I am holding a juvenile FL Horse Conch shell. It is always fun to make a new friend when we go on vacation!
My hair went crazy with curls while we were at the beach, I had ringlets in my bangs at times!
