Common Mullein
Verbascum thapsus* /Snapdragon Family
(INN) Rank 2

This plant has very fuzzy leaves, which is a form of sunscreen. It has been called "Quaker Rouge" due to the fact that the young Quaker girls could not wear make-up; they would make their cheeks rosy by rubbing them (and irritating their skin) with the fuzzy mullein leaves! The seeds can stay dormant in the soil for many decades.
